The original TMC1-Penta Software was written when ATMOS was new and we did not have much experience of big multi-channel systems. After 4 years it is time for a reappraisal of the user interface and the possibilities.
The main objectives were as follows
Change to SMPTE channel assignments
Add alternate formats to simplify the channel assignments when connecting different input formats to a installed speaker system
Allow for multiple Sub’s as required for Atmos installations
Integrate the TMC-1 individual speaker trims with the TMC-Penta6 software
To do this required different memory usage, removing some features (hopefully unused) to make room for new functions. We also changed the look of the software to make it obvious that it is different.

Finally - We are happy with the silk screen, we are sending out the first modules to be tested by users next week. We can now get the Gain module silk screened! Happy Days.
