XPatch-64 Progress

This week we received the new PCB’s for the XPatch-64 this week, The Image below shows the sockets for the sixteen 16x16 crosspoint chips required to make a 64x64 crosspoint array (The XPatch-32 only needed four 16x16 crosspoint chips).

I now have both the XPatch64-Win/Mac program and the XPatch-64 firmware written and communicating but not tested. No doubt there are a few or more bugs that will need to be fixed when testing!

The XPatch-64 uses the same IO cards as the XPatch-32 but will need twice the power.

The Snapshot memory will be twice the size at least and I will be adding 2Mbits of EEProm to allow for this. This will allow up to 128 snapshots to be stored on the XPatch-64.
