XPatch 4.2 Release

Apart from the some small bug fixes in both the Software and firmware the main change with XPatch 4.2 is the inclusion of a Stream Deck Interface. Setup is simple, the XPatch software makes a ‘Native’ connection to the Stream Deck and does not connect via the Elgato Software.

  1. Disconnect Stream Deck from Elgato

  2. Connect your Stream Deck

  3. Run XPatch4.2

  4. Menu “Settings/Stream Deck/” and select between Off, 5x3 or 8x4.

  5. Once you have setup XPatch you can minimise the XPatch4 software and use the Stream Deck to select from the 12 path stores, enable/disable individual paths and enable/bypass paths.

The three screens are selected by the top left button and can be seen in the 3 images taken quickly on my phone below. I used a customer project and the names are as he entered them. The text is split into 4 lines by the Xpatch4 program. On the Path Enable and Path Bypass youc can see that paths 4 & 5 are combined as a stereo path.

We have tested the software with a 15 key Stream Deck Mark 1 with Version 2 Software interface on Windows and Mac (Intel). Yet to be tested are the Stream Deck XL and Mac M1/M2. Stream Deck Version 1 software is not yet suported.
