USB-422 - DUAL RS-422 USB INTERFACE, AVID APPROVED, FOR DAW'S INCLUDING AVID, PYRAMIX

CB Electronics have for a number of years used USB-RS232 interfaces both with and without RS232-RS422 converters. In designing the USB422 we used the experience with many different manufactures to choose the best combination of hardware and drivers.

P2MMC-USB - EXTERNAL CONTROL OF DAW

Based on our P2MMC but using USB Midi. the P2MMC-2 may be used in a number of different configurations allowing DAW’s with Midi In/Out to be resolved to Video Syncs and be controlled by or control RS422 devices.

The P2MMC-2 is ideal to connect MIDI systems (Protools LE, Nuendo, Sequoia, Ardour, Logic Pro, Cubase,Cakewalk) with timecode and video locked RS422 devices. The P2MMC-2 may also be used as a USB timecode interface providing GP Outputs against timecode or logging events against timecode. We have also developed an EDL Recorder using the P2MMC-2 to record live edit decisions to increase efficiency in post production.

EDL Recorder

The CB EDL recorder enables easy reconstruction of live edits to simplify and reduce the time required in the generation of edited highlights.

By logging the real time decisions of the video editor in a standard EDL format the original camera tapes/files may be accessed quickly and accurately.
