TMC-Penta adds SPQ Card Support for the MTRX/AX32/Penta Part 2

Yesterday I was in Paris checking out the SPQ implementation with a customer, I felt that a visit was necessary as the initial test were made long distance with me in London and the MTRX with SPQ card in Amsterdam! This timeI wanted to be in the same room as the TMC-1/2, MTRX and SPQ card, to check for myself that it is working correctly and that the documentation was understood by the customer, installer and myself!

The visit was successful and at the end of the day we were all happy with the results, I was particularly happy that I saw a longstanding problem - When DADman starts it can disable routing and change levels put in place by the TMC-1- and work out what I think is a simple solution as follows.

To regain control from the TMC-1 and re-establish signal routing and levels

Mute and Un-Mute on the TMC-1/2 unit.

This solution will be included to new software that will be posted this week.

Whilst in Paris I wrote a manual on how to setup the SPQ card in DADman and assign the SPQ channels using the TMC1-Penta4 software. Here is a link to the initial draft.

The TMC-1-Penta documentation will have the TMC Penta SPQ document, and be kept up to date.
